WSIB is the governing body that enforces Regulation 1101. Regulation 1101 is the regulation attached to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) that describes the First-Aid requirements in detail within the workplace. The OSHA is governed and enforced by the Ministry of Labour. Just FYI the MOL and WSIB have amalgamated their inspectors.
The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety is just a great site to be familiar with if you have any questions regarding OHS. The Training Medic has an OHS certification from Ryerson University and would be happy to answer any question(s) you may have.
Safety Guys are a GREAT resource for almost ALL your workplace safety training needs. Check out their website there are far too many courses to list here.
We develop in depth guides, full of rich-content, on a variety of asbestos and mesothelioma topics. We have a brand new page that will be super helpful for firefighters looking for more information.
